輪胎聯(lián)軸器采用輪胎體狀橡膠元件，與兩個(gè)半聯(lián)經(jīng)過(guò)螺栓聯(lián)接，實(shí)現(xiàn)扭矩傳遞和位移補(bǔ)償。輪胎式聯(lián)軸器具有較高的彈性性能，扭轉(zhuǎn)剛度小，減震能力強(qiáng)，軸向補(bǔ)償能力較大，有良好的阻尼性能。橡膠輪胎聯(lián)軸器缺點(diǎn)是承載能力不高、外形尺寸較大，隨著兩軸相對(duì)扭轉(zhuǎn)角的增加使輪胎外形扭歪，軸向尺寸略有減小，將在兩軸上產(chǎn)生較大的附加軸向力，使軸承負(fù)載加大而降低壽命。

Elastic tyre couplings efficiently join two shafts using two coupling hubs and one coupling element. The elements split for easy installation without disruption of equipment mounting. Tire couplings are suitable for use in applications experiencing higher degrees of misalignment, effectively reducing vibration and preventing damage.
